Day 21: 30-Day JK Challege
I guess I took a little break from this for awhile. Well, here I go again...
Favorite JK quote?
“I believe that no matter how old you are, no matter how many people count you out, no matter how many hits you take along the way, your life is always unfinished in the sense that it can keep getting better, it can keep unfolding. New things can come into your life as long as you stay positive and stay open.”
It's from a Boston Herald article (http://newkidsnews.blogspot.com/2011/05/opening-knight.html) from when Unfinished was coming out, but he's said similar things in other interviews and what not. I love the message behind Unfinished and I am just really moved by JK's whole story and the NK's "come back." I think this quote is something that everyone can really apply to their own lives. You never know what's coming next, so never give up. :)

It's kind of one of those things that you think it just you... but then you see that everyone is a little unfinished or a work in progress... no matter what stage of life you're at. I guess that's just the journey of life - learning and growing from every experience. :)
LOL! Yes! The mental visual of JK rolling up on his piano bike and hitting people with a flip flop is soooooo hilarious! He is just too funny! :)

Your blog also reminds me of something I was thinking of today, how over the past few months a personal crisis of mine turned into a time of huge personal growth for me, which helped me understand a lot of other things. Funny how even the bad things that happen can sometimes be the things that force you to really take a look at how you think about things and help you find peace in your life. There you go, at least you're still going with the blogs, I did it a couple of days, got sidetracked by class and that was that. Ooooh favorite quote though, I have a few, gonna have to look back and find one. I do have some serious, thoughtful ones but in the meantime one of my new favorites will now definitely have to be "Don't make me roll up on a piano bike and hit you with a flip flop!!" LMAO, I'm going to be laughing about that one for the next week at least :)
