Have you met him?

Well, this depends on your definition of "meet"...LOL! After the Boston Common Tree Lighting, he came out to say "hi" to the crowd. When I saw him, I just didn't know what to do. I couldn't believe he was right there!!!! When he came near me, I asked him for a hug (or at least that's how I remember it happening) and my sister tried to take a picture of us but forgot to put the flash on and it didn't come out because it was so dark. My sister was really upset with herself for "ruining my moment" but honestly I couldn't believe that I had hugged him so I was okay with it. So, there isn't any physical evidence that this even happened; I have to keep reminding myself that it did. Also, it all happened so fast so there wasn't really time to actually talk to him.

Then, two months later, at Dancing for Hope he came out after he performed and that's where I got my do-over (my profile pic). I thought I had blown my JK photo op in December but I was lucky enough to get a second chance. And, I had him sign my beloved Unfinished cd. I also got the greatest hug of my life!!! I'll never forget it... amongst all the craziness it was like time stood still. *sigh* Ummm... anyway, it was SUPER loud in the club and so I didn't actually get to talk to him other than saying "thank you." I knew he couldn't really hear anything and neither could I, so it just would've been awkward if I had started pouring my heart out to him. Plus, I couldn't even hear myself think so I'm sure I wouldn't have made any sense.

So, just due to the nature of our meetings, I haven't actually spoken to the man, which is unfortunate because I really do have a lot to say (whether or not I'd actually be able to articulate myself in front of him is a whole other story, LOL). Due to many factors, I sadly wasn't able to do VIP or brunch for this tour. I'm crossing my fingers that someday I'll get to talk to him. I'm so very grateful that I've had the time with him that I've had. Each time was completely unexpected and unforgettable!
