Happy Thanksgiving! Happy Black Friday! And OMG - It's MY birthday! Yay!
Basically it's a blog about everything coming up.
I'm turning 35 a week from today.
I'm leaving on Wednesday for Thanksgiving holiday. I'm off to Vermont to visit my mom and cook a big fat turkey dinner with all the trimmings and then have a large birthday cake with my family. I love holidays. I love family traditions.
I spent last night on a date with my husband. We haven't had one in 11 years. It was really lovely to get out with my husband without our three kids in tow.
We started off at Sebago Brewing Company having a small but quaint dinner.
We went to PSO POPS! Portland (Maine) Symphony Orchestra POPS performance of the Greatest Hits of Broadway. I thought it was really well done.
We heard all sorts of Broadway musical hits - Momma Mia, Chicago, Wicked!, Phantom of the Opera, Little Shop of Horrors, etc.
And after the show we went to a bar and had a beer with fries. I caught the tail end of the Bruins game. They beat NYIers 6-zip! Yes!
My mom looked after the kids - it was well worth it.
Hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. Mine will be very busy - mostly traveling. I'm hoping to get down to Boston to see more family. Fingers crossed.
